  1. 1. It is allowed Nyx 2. Technically anyone can clean money if they have someone they can run it through. i.e a business owner 3. If Its a struggle for the Vanilla Unicorn or Bahama Mamas to attract dirty money investors they should work harder to get their business in the first place, its fair game after all. 4. Dirty money is usually converted (at least by me) at about a 10% charge to cover the risk and provide incentive, so in the end, the profit is mostly negligible, i personally do it for the sake of role play and helping out groups that are willing to get their hands dirty. The more efficiently i can clean the cash, the more reliable and available the source of the cleaning is, the less reluctant people will be to trade with business owners and get their money cleaned, so more people will be able to pluck up the courage to give drug-running a try in the first place, which can create a new dimension of role play and more for the LSPD to manage in terms of busting dealers and searching people, which again, is better for role play and creates a positive, fun environment. 5. So conclusively, A: i make f*ck all out of dirty money, B: I as a business owner have every right to process cash, C: I should not be penalized simply because i'm a reliable source of cleaning thats so effective i collect majority of the servers dirty money to clean, its basic business, you want to make money with your night club? be more competitive and work for the customer! simple. ~and its pretty common knowledge in the first place that acquiring a night club as a business will make you next to nothing anyway Anyway, miniature rant over. I hope you guys can both come around to my point of view. I agree with points: 1,2,4,5 and 10, very good points to make! +1 - Dimitri Sergeyev CEO Of Sokudo Performance
  2. +1 Big time, it would add a different realm to the mechanics of the economy, and would serve as a lavish money pit for the rich.
  3. @The Silverback i can assure you, myself and the community mean this as nothing more than constructive criticism, you have my full support
  4. Alright so this is going to be a relevantly long forum thread and i apologize in advance for that, but i believe that it is vital that i address a few concerns. To begin with, the new implementation of vehicles as of the 25th of May, was a great move and i would like to thank the development team for reaching out to the community and making it happen. However, already i am seeing various issues arise, and primarily my largest concern is that the vehicles added are non-road going models, LeMans, GT3 and GT2 variants etc, meaning they do not have number plates or any of the traditional aspects of a road legal vehicle, considering that the NSX, C7 Corvette, R35, MP4-12C and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superluggera models all fail to include number plates, i think some serious reconsideration of the vehicle models chosen would be advisable. Why is this a problem you might ask? considering that the above listed cars retail for well above a cool million dollars at both dealerships, offer next to no visual modifications and ARE NOT ROAD LEGAL (VIC POL Statement) they have become large money pits. I was speaking to a police officer myself the other day after driving a C7 on the streets (which does not have a plate, nor is there an option to add a plate to the vehicle) when i was pulled over for not displaying a plate on the vehicle, i was told that these vehicles would be 'crushed' on-site for the simple fact without prior warning, which despite not being my vehicle, has outraged myself a few others who share the same dilemma, which leads me to ask the question; was no consideration put into the lack of road-going designs when choosing vehicle models to be added to the server? because now we face the issue of people not even being able to DRIVE vehicles in which millions of dollars that has ALREADY been invested into those named vehicles by countless players on the server without being bothered by police, even in instances where no road rules have been broken. I ask for the sake of role play, at least give players the mere chance to be able to properly utilize and enjoy these vehicles in the first place without being condemned as a cardinal offender in the eyes of the Victorian Police. To contrast my first dilemma, while i understand and can reason with the recent 'nerfing' of supercar performance, i stand to question the unrealistic aspect of the decision. Police already behold the ability and authority to crush vehicles for committing traffic offences and road rule infractions on a repeat basis, but for the sake of realism, high performance, extremely expensive supercars should be able to travel at higher speeds than select police vehicles. The original goal of implementing crushing vehicles was to utilize a scare tactic to force players to role play or risk losing their vehicles, correct? Then i ask what is the purpose of providing police with vehicles that can achieve speeds well out of realistic boundaries in contrast to the cars they compete with on the streets if the very cars on the street they should be chasing on the street do not have the ability to outrun them in the first place?. If you consider, a twin turbocharged V10 engine in a highly modified Lamborghini Gallardo, a car that weighs barely over 1000 kilograms is now tarnished on the streets by a Police van weighing nearly 2000 kilograms, with a V6, naturally aspirated engine producing rougly 6 times less power, hence this is why i do not understand why a development team so set on creating a positive role play experience can be at the same time, actively warping true realism to make the lives of police officers in-game, childishly easier than it already was. If you consider these two highly undesirable points, these newly added cars that i know take time to put into the game and to test to ensure they work correctly, become a waste of developments precious time because people wont be as likely to spend their money (which has become harder than ever before to earn) on these seemingly under performing vehicles that just dont meet the mark in terms of performance, and arent practical to drive on any street whatsoever as its automatically illegal, thus defeating the purpose of implementing that particular model in the first place. for a better visualization of the problem i am getting at, consider this 1.5 Million dollar BMW M4 GTS: https://gyazo.com/102cfb68f46347e1f668db0911f32537 To clarify a few things, i for one love the addition of having police officers in-game and i enjoy interacting with them, but as of recent the roleplay police officers were once known for has diminished significantly, the vehicle crushing system has been bargained around the server as a simple 'It is so much easier to stop your vehicle and RP, this is after all, an RP server' - Boss, (an RP server in which buffing Police Divvy Vans to outrun mutli-million dollar supercars that have no chance to outrun them to begin with is okay because 'roleplay' ) but more recently i and my peers have experience nothing but threats to have my vehicle destroyed despite my compliance as it has become a tool of threat that the Victorian Police have the right to actively manipulate. I understand that many players will just troll all day long in their cars and bait police but for the sake of the other 80% of the servers population that does not, i would like the suggestions in this thread to be properly considered for the sake of balance on the server, balance between the police and the civilians, which for me was one of the main drawing points to this server in particular over EDRP, LSLA and other notably large communities. Conclusively, i am not by any means trying to suggest a bias, but i feel there is a balance which needs to be addressed. Sincerely, Russian guy at the car dealership nobody can remember the name of.
  5. Hey Guys! So i recently acquired Bartoss Mechanics and promptly renamed it (my name isnt Bartoss afterall) to Sokudo Garage. In an effort to match the name change i would like to suggest a reskin for the building, this will provide a fresh start and help revitalize the business in Los Santos. Thanks for taking the time to check out my suggestion. Mod Link: https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/sokudogarage-2-benny-s Here is a preview!

  8. @Bendacat primarily my point of focus is the sub 150K vehicles for the reasons i listed in my comment. It would be cool to see a nice mix of fresh new cars to liven the place up however Any of them would serve as a welcome addition to the garages of the players.
  9. Hello All! I would just like to suggest a few vehicles that could be added to the server to suit a variety of buyers throughout the server. The primary reason why I feel it's important that we implement more custom model vehicles stems from multiple reasons, the primary one is to benefit role-play on the server; with more cars being available to suit the tastes of players on the server, more people will be willing to get out there and make money, whether it be drugs or legal methods; the effect is dedicated players, I for a fact played for about 2 weeks on the server and grinded to afford a RX-7 as a new player, the car kept me motivated and pushed me to make risky moves to make the money I required, this forced me to interact with other players and get to know the community. Secondly, the vehicles would serve as a great chance to market the server considering many people will avoid playing on some RP servers based upon the Custom Car options, having an extensive list or at least one with a good mix of variety and costs to suit the budgets of all the players would certainly 'sell' the server so to speak, to newcomers in the Ozzy Gaming Community. If it were up to me, there certainly needs to be some kind of reform to introduce some more cost effective vehicles to keep some players interested in the game, afterall, not everyone can afford a glimmering Dodge Challenger or Mazda RX-7, if these cars were implemented, more cost effective cars such as the Honda Integra, the BMW M5 E39 and the BRZ would be vastly popular cars to be sold at affordable prices, this could also encourage more players to make their money legitimately and avoid duplication and exploitation of the economy to gain money as the aforementioned cars would be far more affordable, thus taking less time to work towards. Well, I guess if you've gotten through that giant chunk of writing you deserve an award. Good job comrades. Signed, Miloš Hodzha Nazerbayev @ Walkers Automotive.
