The main function of a lawyer is to guide persons in a common society about their legal rights and obligations. The Basic role of a Lawyer in our society is to give an understanding that what is right and what is wrong in the sight of Law. A lawyer spends large amounts of time understanding and researching law so that they can apply their knowledge to particular situations. Lawyers can also help solve disputes between different parties usually on account of unfair treatment, illegal practice or injustice.
