  1. Thanks for your input. Yeah we haven't really decided on a location, this was just one of the locations that could be used. We will look for another. Yeah I understand that the used dealership wouldn't work without a system/framework. Yeah we wanted to secure the business and location before the 64 players. Although we would like to have the business running before the 64 player count is aloud so we could have everything working amd running smoothly before we have 64 players barking at us. I will join the TEAMSPEAK channel this weekend as discusse the idea with you guys more. Thanks.
  2. Hello everybody, My name is Daniel and my friend Caine and I have another proposition for you all. The base idea of this was actually suggested to us by Dimitri (Blake). We would like to apply for a new business, Moseley Used Auto Dealer. We would be a used vehicle dealer where we as owners/employees would be able to buy vehicles off of other civilians and be able to resell them. We would also be able sell vehicles (Spawned in at will like the Premium Deluxe Motorsport dealership) to civilians that had defects (Like rusted paint, missing body panels, crapy rims, ect) at a cheaper rate than the Premium Deluxe Motorsport dealership. EG: A Rapid GT, $150K to $200k brand new. If Moseley Used Auto Dealer sold it, $120K to $180K but it would be rusty and would be missing the head lights and front bumper. To make sure that people couldn't abuse this as a cheaper way to get vehicles, the mechanic garages would need to charge a fair amount to get the rust removed. This would mean that it could possibly be cheaper to buy a vehicles at either dealership as the mechanic could charge more or less depending on the situation. (This would create great extra roleplay). Here are somethings that I can think of that would need to be implemented/fixed/changed. - We would need a way to prove that the vehicles sold to us were actually owned and registered to the civilian selling them. (so that stolen vehicles couldn't be sold). - We would need to know how much the vehicles are worth brand new so we know how much to sell / buy the vehicle for. - We would need access to the interior of the store, it would need a clean up and some furniture would make it look nice. - Some sort of vehicle defect/rust system. - Some sort of buy/sell/swap vehicles system between civilians and owners/employees. - A vehicle storage system that only owners/employees could access so that we would be able to store the vehicle we buy. Now here's a little bit about us, I am Daniel. In game name: Daniel Dinklepoo Steam name: NOTxEVENxGYPSY My friends name is Caine. In game name: Kyle Marlowe Steam name: Spiratic We are both simple Miners with large interest and knowledge about cars. Thanks and we're looking forward to your thoughts and feed back. *Attached are Images of the current location we have in mind*
  3. Great idea. Although I see the same problem with this that would be with my idea of having a garage in the current dealership: Why would anyone go to the other garages if they could get repairs and upgrades in house or across the road? Why would anyone buy a car that they want modified, from the current dealership if they could go to yours and get it done in house or across the road. This would put the other garages and dealership at a big loss.
  4. Great idea, the RP woulf probably be great. Were you planing on getting rid of the current ability to buy property just by walking to location and selecting buy/rent? Because I could see it being annoying if there wasn't any sales employees online and sitting there wanting for someone to come online. I already see that on the daily with the dealership and mechanics. Just continuous "Dealer you here", "Dealer where you at", "I need a mechanic". In saying that if you were allowed to have the proposed amount of staff I would find it highly unlikely that that would be the case.
  5. All valid points, although there may up to 4 mechanics in the city at once I don't think I've ever been in the city with anymore than 1 or 2 working mechanics that actually respond to calls and none seem to be hiring. In saying that I'm not having a go at any of the mechanics but I would like to submit some other ideas that we have been suggested to us. Autopia Garage (Name still pending), yes another garage but I don't believe there is enough. Great location, away from Legion square. Lots of room inside for equipment. Another idea but I think it has already been suggested before, is a used car dealer. Where we as owners/employees would be able to buy vehicles off of other civilians and be able to resell them. I can see the challenges that would need to be over come: - We would need a way to prove that the vehicles sold to us were actually owned and registered to the civilian selling them. (so that stolen vehicles couldn't be sold). - We don't have a location in mind yet but wanted to see if the idea would even be considered. Thanks, looking forward to your thoughts.
  6. Hello everybody, My name is Daniel and my friend Caine and I have a proposition for you all. We would like to apply for a new business, Premium Deluxe Motorsport Garage. The idea is basically to be mechanics run out of the garage in the dealership. We would be run like all the other mechanics/garages being able to do repairs out of the garage and repairs, modification, resprays, ect in the garage. We would pay the dealership a percentage of all our profits, lets say 15% as compensation for the use of their garage. We see this as a great business opportunity for the dealership. We have spoken to Dimitri (Blake) and Billy about the idea and they both loved it and can't see why it wouldn't work. Now here's a little bit about us, I am Daniel. In game name: Daniel Dinklepoo Steam name: NOTxEVENxGYPSY My friends name is Caine. In game name: Kyle Marlowe Steam name: Spiratic We are both simple Miners with large interest and knowledge about cars and have noticed the need for some extra mechanics in the city. Thank you everyone.
