  1. I'm pretty sure everyone has broken the speed limit whilst on duty so let's not turn this into an argument <3
  2. I’ll move you to problem solved —
  3. Some people that have come from other servers have mentioned in-game gang tags so that cops can identify gang members in a hostile sit. An alternative could be gang uniforms (similar to cop), what are everyone's thoughts?
  4. The 1:1 ratio isn't that great of a problem most of the time, so long as the cops use common sense, we have been dealing with it for a while now, but as ash has said it becomes a problem when they vastly outnumber the civs, and they find themselves being pulled over every minute or so. In addition to this, it might not be so inviting for a new player to join the server and see something like 7 or 8 cops and no civs. https://gyazo.com/df47288e27abdbccbafa063680be1662 Personally, I would say have it in the protocol, not a baked-in script that has something along the lines of "An officer may only go on duty if population(cops) is <= population(civs)" - This might seem a bit much (having it at 1:1), however, I've played on both sides at a 1:1 and its not that bad. In addition, having implemented it as a protocol, it can easily be changed when the population develops to a level where it's not just 10 cops 10 civs. Once it gets to that point, (~30+ concurrent players regularly), I would recommend a ratio of either 1:2 or 1:3. So to recap, I would say ~1:1 until 30 or so players become regular, then a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 should be implemented. We also have to keep in mind people right now are quite wealthy from money they have earned previously, and due to the wipe, people will have less money to sustain their equipment on cop, forcing them to hop on to civ and earn some money, so, in theory, it might just even itself out (to some extent) edit: i have voted for 'no change' for the time being.
  5. I know police officers collect a bounty if the kill/jail a criminal, not sure if this is the case with civs.
  6. From what I've been told by cabinet, Everyone sergeant + that has ~300+ hours in cop will be placed at the rank of sergeant, all else to be placed at the rank of senior constable.
